About the Position
A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is needed to join a well-established Women’s Health clinic serving a growing community in the Mississippi Delta. The affiliated hospital delivers approximately 300 babies annually, with steady growth in the obstetrics program. The facility features a Level II Nursery and is part of a regional health system with hospitals across the country focused on community-based care and clinical excellence. The hospital is also a designated Level IV Trauma Center, providing a strong level of emergency and specialty support for the region.
The medical center serves as a key healthcare hub for several surrounding Delta communities and offers a collaborative environment with supportive physicians and specialists. The organization emphasizes quality patient care, provider support, and continued investment in rural healthcare access.
Schedule

Monday–Friday clinic schedule
-
Call: Approximately 10 days of hospital call per month (1:3 rotation)

Expect 0–3 calls per day while on call
Practice Details

Average 30 patients per full clinic day

Comprehensive women’s health services including:

Prenatal care and testing

Fertility services

Well-woman visits

On-site ultrasound and laboratory services

LEEP and colposcopy

IUD insertion and removal

Family planning services

A full-time urologist assists with gynecologic surgical cases when needed

Laptop provided for secure remote access to patient records, clinic charts, and hospital results
Requirements

Ability to obtain a Mississippi medical professional license
