(Archived) Hospital Based Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

We are currently seeking a skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-based team of Board-certified cardiologists in Falls River, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing consults and follow-up care to inpatients, as well as caring for interventional patients before and after procedures, all under the supervision of a cardiologist. Additionally, you will coordinate follow-up care and maintain communication with Hospitalists and Primary Care Providers. While prior training in cardiac stress test supervision is preferred, arrangements can be made for suitable candidates. It's important to note that this role does not involve participation in acute STEMI emergencies or scrubbing into the cath lab. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with day coverage on a rotating basis every fourth weekend, and weekday time off following a weekend of work.

Requirements: Candidates for this position must be licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts, with a valid Drug Enforcement Agency certificate and a Massachusetts controlled substances registration. Familiarity with cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and medications is essential, while experience with cardiac cath patients is highly desirable. Proficiency in computer skills, including eClinicalworks, Meditech, and Epic, will be necessary for success in this role.
