About the Position
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a balanced schedule of four 10-hour days per week, with an average patient volume of 12–16 per day. There are no call requirements, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. An AI scribe is available to support documentation efficiency.
You’ll be joining an established cardiology practice alongside a full-time physician and a full-time nurse practitioner, supported by a strong and growing referral network with high demand for cardiovascular services across the region.
The practice is part of a well-supported, independent, community-focused healthcare system serving a broad rural population in eastern Oregon. The organization emphasizes patient-centered care, modern technology, and continued growth of specialty services. Providers benefit from access to Epic EHR (with cardiology-specific modules including Cupid and upcoming Muse integration), as well as a collaborative environment with on-site ancillary services.
Clinical responsibilities include:
- Management of implantable cardiac devices
- Supervision of stress testing in a co-located respiratory therapy department
- Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports
- Performance of minor procedures such as loop recorder implantation/removal, cardioversion, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
