(Archived) Locums Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Job Description
Seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate must be willing to work a minimum of 7 shifts per month, and nights are required.
The ideal candidate will be certified in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, BTLS, and PALS, and must be board certified. Additionally, the candidate must have a current Texas state license.
As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Compensation: $80 Per hour
Responsibilities:
· Provide direct patient care in the emergency department setting
· Perform initial patient assessments and triage
· Order and interpret diagnostic tests
· Develop and implement treatment plans
· Administer medications and other treatments as needed
· Document patient care in the electronic medical record system
· Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned
Requirements:
· Certified in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, BTLS, and PALS
· Board certified
· Current Texas state license
· Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
· Ability to provide high-quality patient care with attention to detail and accuracy
· Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules as needed, including nights
