Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Locums Job in Michigan | December + Ongoing Through 2024
Coverage need:
* 7on/7off to be shared with another locums APP 6am-6pm
* Will be rounding and coordinating care on trauma/acute care general surgery patients
-- Active & unrestricted Michigan medical license & DEA required
-- Board Certification or truly Board Eligible
-- Rounding and coordinating care, respond to trauma activations in the ED, inpatient + ED consults, writing H&P progress notes, responding to inpatient nursing and ancillary department inquiries
-- Support staff: Supervising physician + one APP
-- Procedures: chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, sutures, assist with bedside tracheostomy/peg tube placement
-- EMR Epic
-- ACLS, BLS, ATLS strongly preferred and FCCS preferred, not required
-- Case logs 50 patient encounters within 12 months
