Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Endovascular Services Locums Job in New York
Details/Requirements:
--Start ASAP (as soon as credentialed – 30-45 days)
--Shift time: 7A-7P and after hours on call
--Only NPs being considered for this search
--Seeking two FT NPs to assist with coverage
--Case/volume: three cases per day and potential stroke emergencies after hours
--Procedures required/typical cases: angiograms, carotid stenting, Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolization, aneurysm flow diversion, fistula embolization, Kypho-plasty, ablations, epidurals, spinal stimulator
--Acute patients are transferred to ICU and admitted after the procedures
--Support staff: 9 MDs and 4 F/T APP’s (plus per-diem APP’s)
--EMR: EPIC
--Three month assignment with the opportunity to extend
