Family Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in District of Columbia

Details/Requirements:
--Family Medicine NP needed for coverage starting ASAP working Mondays with an initial contract of 3 months

--Patient load is bread and butter Family Medicine. About 70/30 adults, no prenatal/obstetric care. Well-child checks and annual adult physicals, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, etc.), acute/chronic musculoskeletal complaints, urgent care (acute illnesses: URI, UTI, sore throat, GYN concerns).

--100% outpatient, no call. Expectation 21 patients/day (3/hour).

--Family planning procedure experience a plus (IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal).

--The clinician going out also does gender affirming care (prescribes hormone therapy for gender-nonconforming individuals) and medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders. Neither of these make up a substantial enough part of her practice that these are required skills.

--Bilingual (English/Spanish) optimal.

--eCW experience a plus.
