Do you have a passion for serving those who served our country?
Seeking compassionate and qualified individuals to join our team of Compensation & Pension (C&P) Examiners (1099 contractor role) responsible for conducting medical examinations for Veterans seeking disability benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations for Veterans, following established VA protocols and guidelines.
- Gather and document accurate medical history and findings.
- Communicate effectively with Veterans and other staff.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of residence.
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, family medicine, or related field.
- Strong understanding of VA disability rating criteria.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the VA claims process is a plus.
