Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: Feb 16, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed) thru Feb 15, 2027 plus 6-month option to extend.
- Preferred Schedule:8am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday. OT may be required due to patients care activities, admin duties and/or training. No Weekends or Federal Holidays.
- Worksite Setting: Outpatient VA Clinic
- Scope of Work: Board Certified IM or FP NP or PA provider to work in an outpatient Primary Care Clinic Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) on-site. Patient Care appointments are scheduled. The average workload is an avg of 12 patients a day varying between 30 minutes and 60 minutes appointment times. Assessment of walk-in outpatient veterans varies in workload but is required in the PACT responsibility of duties. Job duties include: annual physicals, screenings, vaccinations, treating common illnesses and minor injuries, such as colds, flu, rashes and sprains. Chronic Disease Management such as hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes, etc. 80% of job duties is patient care; 20% is administrative.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Board Certified. Any state professional license (no actions of any kind on any licenses). Active DEA, BLS & ACLS. Immunizations required (Current PPD w/n past year, MMR, Varicella. Tdap, Influenza)
- EMR: RPMS
- Pay Rate Preferred: $80-$85 plus travel & lodging
