Sumo Medical Staffing is looking for experienced Emergency Medicine APP's for Independence, MO.
Specialty: Emergency Medicine APP (NP/PA)
Requirements
- No new grads
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Need
- 3 APP openings
- Start ASAP, ideally by September
- Ongoing assignment
Schedule
- Shifts: 9a-9p and 3p-1a
- All dates needed
- No call
Facility
- Free-Standing Emergency Department
- 10 beds, 1 trauma bay
- ~80 patients/day
- ~3.5% admission rate
- Primarily Level 4 and 5 patients
Support
- 24-hour physician coverage
- 2-4 nurses per shift
- 1 imaging tech available 24/7
Procedures Required
- Laceration repair
- Splinting
- Incision & drainage
- Other routine ER procedures
- Vent management not required
Additional Information
- No rounding
- No ICU responsibilities
