Job Description
MedCare Staffing is seeking locum tenens providers to cover upcoming provider absences at a community-based primary care clinic. This opportunity is near Los Angeles, CA. We are considering Family Medicine physicians (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
Locum providers will see established patients during the regular provider's absence. They will not handle new-patient intakes, pre-operative clearances, or hospital follow-up visits. All notes must be completed and charts closed at the end of each shift.
Requirements: active California license, current DEA, BLS, and recent primary care or family medicine experience. Current proficiency with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required. Providers will complete EMR onboarding before their first shift.
