Job Description
A primary care outpatient clinic in the Dalton, Georgia area is opening a new access point and needs a Family Nurse Practitioner as soon as possible. The patient population is about 95% adults and 5% children, and the clinic is open to locum tenens or permanent candidates.
The FNP will provide comprehensive family medicine primary care: evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing exams and wellness visits, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, prescribing, and documenting in eClinicalWorks. Spanish-speaking providers are a plus, since patients speak English and Spanish.
Candidates need an active Georgia APRN license (or the ability to obtain one quickly), national FNP certification, and DEA registration. Primary care or family medicine experience is preferred.
