We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Tenens Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Arizona. Key Responsibilities:

· Provide specialized pediatric gastroenterology care to patients in the outpatient setting.

· Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose gastrointestinal disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.

· Collaborate with dietitians and nutritionists to provide nutritional guidance and dietary management to pediatric patients.

· Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

· Collaborate with the supervising physician, pediatricians, and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care.

· Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR) documentation.

Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) degree from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Active and unrestricted state license in Arizona.
• DEA license for prescribing medications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
