Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner Locums Job - Hospital Clinic in Eastern Virginia

Details/Requirements:
--Immediate coverage in a locums capacity but permanent opportunity is available as well.
--Nurse Practitioner will need to be comfortable seeing HIV patient population and needs to have disease specific experience
--Will be working in the Wellness Program and sometimes in the hospital rounding on patients that get admitted to hospital bed
--Will need to be comfortable checking on and managing hormone medications
--Will need to be comfortable with medication management and medical management of HIV patients
--Will mostly be working in ambulatory clinic but will be rounding on patients from time to time in hospital as well
--Number of patients expected to be seen per day can range from 4-10
--This is a great opportunity with a wonderful client of ours
--Long-term locums and locum-to-permanent potential
--Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance provided
--Coverage needed is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
--Average 6-8 patients per day
--Outpatient coverage only
--Location is within close proximity to Washington D.C. and Richmond.
