Work Dates Needed: As soon as credentialed and ongoing for 3 months min. Mon-Fri
Preferred Schedule: 7am-4pm
Worksite Setting: Outpatient, Occupational Medicine
Scope of Work:
Obtains complete medical history and physical exams for patients.
• Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate laboratory, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
• Collaborates with physicians, as needed or per protocol, in managing acute and long-term medical (and worker compensation- related) needs of patients.
• Administers medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines.
• Manages medical and surgical emergencies.
• Performs therapeutic and minor surgical procedures, suturing minor lacerations, SubQ foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
• Instructs patients regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education.
• Reviews patients’ tests and examination results.
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: WA license, DEA, BLS, DOT Cert would be a huge plus but not a requirement
