About the GROUP:
Group is a primary care based, multispecialty physician group with offices throughout the Eugene/Springfield area. Our group consists of internists, family practitioners, pediatricians, obstetricians / gynecologists and several specialists including orthopedics, otolaryngology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pain management, podiatry, rheumatology, dermatology, sports medicine and neurology. We have a wide variety of ancillary services to support efficient patient care and access, including laboratory, diagnostic imaging, a women's breast health center, infusion services, anticoagulation, audiology, physical therapy and travel medicine.
About the POSITION:
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner
Will work with one Pain Management Physician and one Physician Assistant
Will provide Pain Management needs for the community.
Practice encompasses all aspects of Pain Management including health care needs assessment, history & physicals, patient education and follow up. Experience in a pain management or primary care practice preferred.
Treatments that can include nerve blocks, alternative treatments such as acupuncture, physical therapy, surgery or drug treatment. Commonly treated pain conditions include back pain, head and neck pain, joint pain, bursitis, musculoskeletal pain and spasms.
We evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain utilizing various approaches for treating pain to improve each patient's function and quality of life. We provide both conservative and interventional options for treatment and work in coordination with patients and providers to determine the best course of treatment.
