Job Description

Locum Tenens Pediatrician or Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Clinic – Stockbridge, GA

MedCare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician or Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens opportunity at a solo outpatient pediatric clinic in Stockbridge, Georgia. This is a short-term coverage need with the potential to extend.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Stockbridge, GA
  • Setting: 100% outpatient, solo practice environment
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Minimum of 1 month, with potential extension
  • Schedule:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Tuesday & Thursday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Will be paid for a minimum of 4 hours per day
  • Call: None
  • Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day
  • Patient Population:
    • 100% pediatrics (ages 0–21)
    • Sick visits (ages 0–21) and well visits (ages 0–18)

Support Staff:

  • 1 Medical Assistant
  • 1 Front Desk Staff
  • 1 Office Manager

EMR System: IMS by Fox Meadows
Travel: Mileage reimbursement available

Requirements:

  • Board Certification (preferred)
  • Active Georgia medical license
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting
