  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitioner
  • Join a team of psychiatrists, APPs, psychologists and therapists
  • 2 years of APP experience required
  • Outpatient
  • Option to see adults or children
  • Monday – Friday, 8a-5p,
  • Possible evening and weekend hours
  • Patient advisory system handles after-hour calls
  • Weekly collaboration with psychiatrist
  • Consults with new patients, manage medications, provide counseling service
  • Referral hospital and mental health facilities nearby
  • Must have current Illinois license and psychiatric certification
  • Must have mental health assessment experience, positive communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the health care team
