Job Description
- Setting: state psychiatric hospital
- Contract length: 6 months with possibility of extension
- Credentialing timeframe: 4-6 weeks
- Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
- Scope: acute adult inpatient wards, forensics, NGRI, civil pts, long term LOS
- Duties: comprehensive psych evals, competency restoration evals, diagnosis, treatment
- Caseload: 40 pts per provider, alongside PCP and interdisciplinary team
- Admits / Discharges: 0-3 per month
- License & Cert: active VA license, DEA with VA address, BC PMHNP, BLS (AHA)
- Experience: Must have exp working with acute adult inpatients incl forensics
