About the AREA:
Located in Northwest Indiana just 1 hr to Chicago, IL
About the GROUP:
Group is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community health center with 3 office locations. Group is a licensed community mental health center through the Indiana Division of Mental Health & Addictions and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. We offer a full continuum of care for adults, families, adolescents, and children with mental health or substance abuse issues. We treat all clients on individual plans of care, tailored to specific needs.
About the POSITION:
Need is due to increasing client care and services
Community Mental Health Center with outpatient and inpatient services
Lab on site
Outpatient position, and will take some inpatient call
Will work with Psychiatrists, other NP's, strong support staff
40 hour work week, 32 hours required on-site
Call schedule: 1 weekday per week plus every 5th or 6th weekend
Will see 24-30 pats/day; inpatient average census is 8 patients
