About the AREA:
Located on the VT / NH border 1 hr from Concord, NH.
About the GROUP:
Group began in 1975. In the early years, the NH Department of Health and Human Services funded the organization primarily to provide public health services for women and children including family planning, WIC (Women, Infants & Children), prenatal and child healthcare. Over the years, group expanded into full primary care for all members of the community regardless of age or gender, including the insured and uninsured, high and low incomes. Several physical moves were made to accommodate this growth, until in 1989 a permanent home was made at the current location. In 2011, they underwent a $2.6M renovation/expansion project made possible through ARRA funding (American Recovery & Reinvestment Act) to provide even more access to care for those we serve in the community. They have 5 locations now.
About the POSITION:
FQHC
Psych NP must have at least 1-year experience. They do not have a Psychiatrist on staff, so they would not feel comfortable putting a new graduate into this position.
Full time 30-40 hours per week.
Time will be split between 2 sites.
Monday to Friday from 8a to 5:30p, and Saturday from 9a to 4p.
Not required to work Saturdays but can if desired.
Expected to see 2-3 visits per hour, realizing new patients take more time and some medication management takes less time.
Group has a pharmacist on staff whose sole focus is on comprehensive medication management and clinical pharmacy services.
