Full-Time CT Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job | Northern Virginia | January through December 2024
Open to working with two to three providers to piece the full-time coverage.
Details/Requirements for Assignment #98917:
-- Active + unrestricted Virginia license + DEA is required (we may have time to license you if necessary)
-- Active Board Certification required
-- If Nurse Practitioner - MUST be Acute Care NP (Health System cannot credential those that do not have the IP training - certification is required)
-- Start date: seeking coverage starting the first week in January 2024 + ongoing
-- Able to confirm coverage through June 2024 immediately but will need coverage through all of 2024
-- Seeking weekday coverage (Monday through Friday) from 8AM - 4:30PM
-- Night + weekend call coverage will be at a 1:3 rotation, covering every 3rd weeknight + every 3rd weekend each month
-- Weekend call starts at 7AM on Friday's and ends the following Monday at 7AM
-- Facility's Cardiac Staff: will work alongside of 3 CT Surgeons, 1 lead PA, 2 integrated RN care managers, 1 clinic RN + 1 clerical staff member
-- Case volume: will do approximately 4-8 cases per week + during normal operating hours
-- ALL skills associated with CT Surgery APP is required including Vein Harvesting, + Chest Tube Placements
-- Patient population is 100% Adult + Geriatric
-- Facility details: Epic EMR, 220+ bed facility, level III trauma designation
