Surgical Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Locums Job in Michigan May-ongoing
Coverage Need:
- 7on/7off
- May 13-20 + May 27 - June 3 + ongoing (orientation and shadowing May 10-12)
Details/Requirements:
-- Active Michigan license & DEA required
-- Board Certification
-- Support staff: Supervising physician + one APP
-- Procedures: chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, sutures, assist with bedside tracheostomy/peg tube placement
-- EMR Epic
-- ATLS strongly preferred
-- Assist with coverage in the surgical services, including managing patient admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery, and urology
-- Acting as hospital wide first call for all inpatient surgical services (general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, urology and colorectal surgery)
