- Seeking a Locums Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Location is 20 minutes from Washington, DC
- Schedule is 4/10’s or 5/8s from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Cardio Vascular Operating Room experience including vein harvesting – first assist experience
- 10 call shifts per 6 weeks after introductory period
- 2 ORs and a third once a week in the Cath lab
- Will work with two physicians who have been at the hospital for over 20 years
- No transplants or pediatrics
- A typical day may include 2 coronaries, an AVR, creation of an AVF and a CEA

A hospital 20 minutes outside Washington, DC is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The schedule would be 4/10s or 5/8s from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. After an introductory period, there are 10 call shifts per 6 weeks. Experience in the cardiovascular operating room including vein harvesting and fist assist is desired. There are 2 ORs and a third once a week in the Cath Lab. Will work with two physicians who have been at the hospital for over 20 years. A typical day may include 2 coronaries, an AVR, creation of an AVF and a CEA. No transplants or pediatrics.
