Advanced Practice Cardiovascular Surgery Locums Job near Glendale, Arizona | Seeking Weekend Call Coverage for Seven Months | November 2023 Start

Coverage Needs:
-- Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7P - 7A
-- Five nights of weekday coverage per month (these are typically spread out throughout the month) + one weekend of call coverage/month (1:4 rotation)

Assignment Details/Requirements #96465:
-- Seeking Surgery PA or NP highly specialized in Cardiovascular Surgery
-- Will assist a Cardiovascular Surgeon in the OR as needed while on call
-- Coverage scheduled between two facilities, only one hospital per day decided through scheduling
-- APP locums will only be used for Surgery call during the week and cover at 1 facility
-- APP locums will cover two hospitals over the weekend + will assist the surgeon with rounding (average of 8-10 PPD)
-- Surgeons are first response to calls after hours + will call in APP support if a surgical case comes in
-- 100% adult patient population
-- Number of patients per physician per day: Admission 1-3, ICU 8-10, Inpatients 15-20
-- Details on each facility:
* Facility 1: 575+ beds, designated level I trauma center, Cerner EMR
* Facility 2: 495+ beds, designated level 3 trauma center, Cerner EMR
