Matrix Providers has a full-time opportunity for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our U.S. Military Service Members and their families at the 377th Medical Group located at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM | (40 hours per week)

  • This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement. Union dues and pay rates are governed by the bargaining agreement.

Requirements: The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner must have and meet the following:

  • Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • Must possess a U.S. state license to practice nursing.
  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years within the last 3 years working as a full-time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Requires board certification by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties.
  • Must have current BLS and NRP certifications from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Job Summary:

  • Educating patients about women's health issues.
  • Performing annual exams and providing well-woman care.
  • Helping women with family planning and selecting birth control.
  • Offering care during perimenopause and menopause.
  • Diagnosing and helping patients manage sexually transmitted diseases.
  • Providing care for acute or chronic medical conditions.
