Wound Care Surgery Nurse Practitioner Locums Job | Weekday Coverage | Flexible Schedule Starting ASAP + Ongoing

Dates of coverage needed:
* Open to any 1-2 week days of coverage, as long as you can offer the same days of the week every week
* There are 3 assisted living/long term healthcare facilities that are located 20-21 miles apart from each other
* Can spend 1 day at each location and/or go from one location to the next if time allows
* Shifts are Monday – Thursday only, work hours are generally from 7A/8A – 3:30 PM (all charting must be done while working onsite at each location – no after hours charting)

Details/Requirements for Assignment # 98811:
» Location: Northern West Virginia; three locations that are 20-22 miles apart from one another in the Bridgeport area
» Active West Virginia license + DEA required
» Seeking Surgical Wound Care Nurse Practitioner coverage (Board Certification is not required)
» Willing to work with multiple NPs if necessary
» Will be required to drive personal car to and from work locations - will be reimbursed for mileage
» Will be provided with all medical instruments + supplies directly, will also receive a tablet for charting – all of this will be shipped to you directly via mail

Cases + Patient Volume:
* Will be required to do on-site debridement’s, post-surgical wound care, minor dermatological cases (to include bed sores, pressure wounds, diabetic woods, etc.)
* Will see an average of 20 – 22 patients each day
* Will have nursing staff on site at each location for assistance & will have a collaborating physician
* The bulk of the patient load will be continuous patients (residents) that will require weekly check ins, a smaller portion of the patients will be short-term rehabilitation
* If a patient requires more serious care, you will be able to refer the patient to the PCP, who will work with the nursing home to arrange hospitalization transport & coordination
