Job Description
Seeking an Early Childhood Research coordinator to be responsible for expanding and strengthening comprehensive, equity focused, and family centered early childhood programs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as the primary liaison, collaborating with the program director to oversee, manage, and support interns in their early childhood tasks, answering questions, and addressing obstacles.
- Communicate interdepartmentally and with community members to ensure engagement in programs.
- Grow and expand existing toy boxes, cell phones, and home visit referral programs.
- Develop and support new initiatives such as Breastfeeding Coach programs.
- Work directly with a video production agency to coordinate filming with families and/or family coaches, ensuring editing meets the goals of First Three.
- Coordinate focus groups and advisory group sessions made up of parents to provide feedback on First Three programs.
- Participate in Branding, Designing, and Marketing meetings with the branding team to build a strong presence of First Three in the early childhood marketplace.
- Recruit and organize parents and home visitors as First Three coaches.
- Coordinate training sessions for First Three coaches.
- Assist with recruiting providers to support early childhood programming and implement the First Three curriculum.
- Create job descriptions for interns partnering in early childhood programs.
- Collaborate with the Community Engagement Coordinator to organize, distribute, and publicize the resource closet at the ECCE.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments of interns from Early Childhood funding.
- Work with the finance department to acquire gift cards when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in a health-related field.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association preferred.
