(Archived) Director of Nursing Registered Nurse

Children’s Ambulatory Surgery Center, located in Fair Lawn, NJ, is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled full time Registered Nurse for the position of Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Pre-operative and PACU/Recovery Nursing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to delivering the highest quality patient care.

Compensation: $$100,000 - $125,000 annual salary

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current NJ Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Fluent in Spanish a plus but not required

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee care for patients of all ages in the PACU/Pre-op department.
• Provide care in accordance with nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
• Make informed decisions regarding direct patient care needs and effectively communicate pertinent information to the interdisciplinary team.
• Assume additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, including participation in committees, involvement in quality improvement audits, and contribution to special projects.
• Foster a patient-centered care environment, ensuring a commitment to excellence and quality in all aspects of nursing practice.
