Dorchester outpatient community health center location. Adult, Womens Health, or Ped Openings or all of the above if you prefer.

The RN assists the providers by preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording necessary data for health, weight, medication and allergies, performs simple lab tests such as urine dipstick, takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure, performs vision testing, assists providers with simple procedures and other related duties.

• Performs routine nursing care to patients, while utilizing age specific guidelines and standard precaution practices at all times.

• In conjunction with care team and/or provider, assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan of care.

• Administers medications and vaccinations to patients orally, topically, subcutaneously, intradermal and intramuscularly as order by provider or following standing orders policy.

• Assists patients with staying up to date with clinical care guidelines, immunizations and health maintenance tests.

Preferred/Required Experience, Education, Skills:

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) and Current CPR BLS required

$37 - $47 per hour
