Matrix Providers is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in Honolulu, HI.

Level 11 RN openings:

Med/Surg. Pediatrics, Surgical Center, Obgyn, Float Pool.

• Employment Status: Full-time
• Compensation: This is a salaried position, paid bi-weekly OR This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly.

Requirements: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have and meet the following:

• Degree: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience within the last five years caring for
  patients in an ambulatory and/or acute care setting as a Registered Nurse.
  Specifically for Psychiatric areas, minimum one year experience within the last five
  years caring for psychiatric inpatients as a registered nurse.
  Specifically for OBGYN areas, minimum one year experience within the last five
  years caring for ante/post-partum and GYN surgical patients as a registered nurse.
  Specifically for Medical/Surgical area, minimum one year experience within the last
  five years caring for adult patients in medical/surgical care setting as a registered
  nurse.
  Specifically for Pediatric clinics and ward areas, minimum one year experience
  within the last five years caring for pediatric patients in an acute care setting as a
  registered nurse
  
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

Job Summary:

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice by all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
• Perform physical exams and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Direct and supervise the care provided by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergencies.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people to inform the healthcare team of plans/actions for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
• Perform nursing services as identified in the official Task Order.
• Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.
