Seeking an
Imaging Technologist who under general supervision, following
established procedures, is responsible for all technical factors and patient
positioning for the performance of all routine Diagnostic Radiology procedures,
special radiographic procedures (neurologic cardiac vascular studies), all
computed tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures in
order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and
injuries.
Compensation: $37 - $46 Per Hour |
- Possess a High School diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma (GED.)
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school.
- Has a New York State license.
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Certification in CAT Scan; MRI preferred.
- Continuing education credits in CT, MRI and Radiography.
- Five (5) years experience as a Radiology Technologist with at least six (6) months in CAT scan and six (6) months in MRI.
