Job Description
Position Details:
-
Setting: Med Surg/Acute Rehab
Schedule: 12 hr nights with a 36-hour guarantee.
-
Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
-
Average Census: 22
-
EMR: Cerner
-
Location Requirement: Must have own vehicle; no public transportation available
-
Local travelers (within 50 miles) are not eligible
-
Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
Responsibilities:
-
Serve as a backup Charge RN as needed
-
Deliver comprehensive patient care
-
Provide education to patients and families
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold nursing standards
Requirements:
-
2+ years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience
-
Charge RN experience required
-
Previous travel experience (min. 3 months)
-
Valid VT or Compact RN license
-
BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
-
BSN preferred
-
Must be willing to float between Med Surg and Acute Rehab units
Additional Info:

No block scheduling allowed
-
RTO (max 5 days) must be submitted with application – no exceptions
-
3-strike call-off policy strictly enforced
