Seeking a full time Obstetrics Registered Nurse to play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns. Your responsibilities include delivering compassionate and evidence-based care, adhering to hospital policies, maintaining high-quality charting, and ensuring patient and family involvement in care plans.

Essential Functions:
Assume responsibility for a patient assignment on the Obstetrics Unit, delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to expectant mothers and newborns.
Include patients and their families in the development of care plans, promoting a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care.
Maintain complete and accurate charting of care and interventions, contributing to high-quality care and seamless patient transitions.
Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them with the information needed for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum period.
Collaborate with the Obstetrics Unit team to ensure timely charging of patient supplies.
Float and/or cross-train to work in other areas of the Nursing Division as needed.
Requirements:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
1-2 years of previous clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) education completed bi-annually.
Perinatal Emergency Obstetric Program (PEOP) or Perinatal Continuing Education Program (PCEP) certification completed every 3 years.
National certification in obstetrics nursing strongly encouraged.
